Input Explanation

Enter how much local currency one unit of foreign currency is worth. E.g. if 1 USD = 1,350, enter 1350.

Calculation Basis

Local = foreign × rate. Foreign = local ÷ rate.

  • Estimate a remittance - Note in advance how much foreign currency a local amount becomes.

Cautions

  • The actual exchanged amount may differ depending on when the rate was quoted.
  • Because it uses a manual rate rather than a live FX quote, it excludes remittance fees and preferential rates.

Are these live rates?

No. It calculates only with the rate you enter.

Where do I find the rate?

Enter a rate you checked at a bank, portal, or card company. The base rate and cash rate can differ.

Are exchange fees included?

No. It only converts, so reflect fees or spreads in the rate yourself or consider them separately.

Can I calculate several currencies at once?

It converts with one rate at a time. To switch currencies, enter the new rate.
